My surfmobile #3 was a 2003 Nissan 4WD Long Bed Crew Cab with the Supercharged V-6 engine and was retired in September of 2006. My current surfmobile is a a 2003 Honda Element. Surfmobile #2 was a 2001 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab and was retired in December 2003. Surfmobile #1 was a 1992 Dodge Caravan and was retired in 2001.) I carry my gear over the bed on Thule racks mounted to the frame rails with Thule artificial rain gutters. The bed is covered by a Sportmasters Tonneau Master cover. It rolls up underneath the racks and provides full access to the bed even with boards in place.
